Winnie-The Pooh First edition published Oct 1926

1926. A  good quality first edition, hardcover bound in dark green cloth with a gilt illustration to the front board.

Gilt page block head, gilt lettering to spine and gilt borders to front and rear. The front and rear boards and edges show signs of handling and shelfware.

The ex library copy of this lovely story comes with the corners being bumped with some creasing of the spine ends.
The Illustrated endpapers are slightly tanned, with minor blemishes.

The previous owner has several pencil marks to a few pages  otherwise only a few foxing marks internally.
There is damage to the hinge and a couple of insignificant tears to page edges. illustrated throughout, a lovely copy of this first edition.
