Windsor and Newton Vintage radial Easle.

A fantastic full size folding Windsor and Newton Radial easel of substantial size dating to around 1902.

Full of period patina and a super imposing decorative piece.

There is some slight twisting to the frame but every thing is in full working order.

The trade marked design allows for two substantial size paintings to be displayed and has a lot of adjustments up and down with the sliding blocks and shelves.

Constructed from pitch pine and hardwood (oak we think ) with original ironmongery.

The lovely large single winged nut on the bottom is simply lovely.

Marked with the Windsor & Newton badge.

This item is really easy to ship as it folds fully flat and can be sent across the UK and beyond at cost.

Condition Report:

Here is a fine quality antique English George V Winsor & Newton solid beech artist’s studio easel, circa 1930, in good original working condition.

The easel has been traditionally wax polished by hand in our workshop; therefore, the finish and colour are in great  condition considering its age.

The are Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant, considering the age of the item.

The central easel bar is fully height adjustable and the locking thumb screw locking mechanisms are present and in working condition. There are no breaks or damage to the frame but there is a slight twist in the two upright bars but this in no way affects it’s use or charm.

The item is solid in joint and ready to use.
