Festival of Britain commemorative Brooch

We have a super collectible from the iconic event to celebrate a new dawn for post war austerity coming to an end.

Churchill was not a fan of the event and ordered the  centrepiece of the event,The skylon to be thrown into the river.

The brooch is dated 1953,the year of Festival Of Britain.

There are three of the glass beads missing but it goes not detract from the decorative appeal.
