A rare Deadfall wooden Mouse Trap

14" tall x 12" wide. Authentic 19th Century deadfall mousetrap.

We are delighted to offer for sale this beautiful wooden sculpture that is actually a rare 18th century mouse trap.

It took us a while to work out how it works.

Full working order and it looks very decorative.

We were amazed  to find still with the trap all in working order.

 The wood has a nice old patina.

There are old woodworm holes in the side and the whole piece has been treated to ensure it lives on for another 150 years.

A cool thing.
